Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "overpower" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to build hype for next month's boxing match.
Former two-time unified heavyweight champion Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I plan to injure his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to really want to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
In spite of such comments, a composed Joshua and social media star Paul - typically recognized for his dramatics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "not serious" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, at the same time, targeted British opponent Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's largest financial successes, consistently making substantial earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in rounds four or five and claimed he would derail the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul stated.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers participated in the traditional face-off, with their size difference on show, it emphasized just how surprising this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is actually happening.
